Before a parent may volunteer in our classrooms, work an on-campus event during the school day, chaperone a field trip and/or coach a school sports team, you must have all of the below on file with School Office. Please send requested documentation to Mrs. Caroline Cota, ccota@olfdof.org.
To drive your own child for a field trip, sports or other school-sponsored event, you must meet all of the requirements on the Parent Volunteer Checklist, above.
To drive any other OLF students for school-sponsored events, you must meet all of the requirements on the Parent Volunteer Checklist AND submit copies of the following to Mrs. Caroline Cota, ccota@olfdof.org:
No. Even if you've completed a LiveScan with an employer or other organization, that will not suffice to volunteer at OLF. You must complete a LiveScan specific to the Fresno Diocese. Stop by our School Office for the form before heading to your LiveScan appointment.
All parent volunteers must complete the newest version of the Fresno Diocese online Safe Environment Training, issued January 2023, before volunteering in classrooms during the 2023-24 school year. So even if you completed the previous version of this training within the last 5 years, you must take this new version now to stay current. Once complete, your certification will again be valid for 5 years.
